ファーラは、
絵物語
『海いろのキツネコと こころのはな』
に登場するキツネコのモデルとなった存在です。
物語の中で描かれる、海のようにやさしく、心に寄り添う佇まいは、
このファーラの姿から生まれました。
✧ 額に宿る宝石
ファーラの額には、ラリマーを中心に、
星屑のような煌めくラインストーンと、
夜空のような青いサファイアのさざれで紡がれた装飾が宿されています。
ラリマーは、カリブ海の景色を思わせる淡いブルーの模様が特徴の天然石で、
「ドルフィン・ストーン」
「カリブ海の宝石」とも呼ばれています。
世界三大ヒーリングストーンのひとつとして知られ、
穏やかさや、やさしい調和を象徴する石です。
また、ラリマーは、
穏やかな変化を受け入れる心をそっと宿すとも伝えられています。
その周囲に添えられたサファイアは、
深い青をたたえた宝石。
古くから空や真理と結びつけられ、
誠実さや揺るがない想いを象徴してきました。
サファイアは、
物事の真実を静かに見抜く力を宿す石とされています。
それぞれの石は主張しすぎることなく、
ひとつの光として、静かに寄り添っています。

ファーラの瞳は、
空の青が海に映り込んだような色をしています。
遠い昔、
世界は巨大なサファイアの上に載っており、
空の青さはその反射だと信じられていた――
そんな古い伝承を思わせる青。

Fāra is the model for the illustrated story
“The Sea-Colored Kitsuneko and the Flower of the Heart.”
The gentle, ocean-like presence depicted in the story—
quietly staying close to the heart—
was born from the form of Fāra herself.
✧ The Gemstones on Her Forehead
At the center of Fāra’s forehead rests Larimar,
woven together with
stardust-like sparkling rhinestones
and deep blue sapphire chips reminiscent of the night sky.
Larimar is a natural stone known for its soft, ocean-like blue patterns,
often called
the Dolphin Stone
or the Gem of the Caribbean.
It is known as one of the world’s three great healing stones,
symbolizing calmness and gentle harmony.
Larimar is also said to quietly hold
the heart that welcomes change with softness and grace.
Surrounding it are sapphires,
gems of deep blue long associated with the sky and truth.
They have symbolized sincerity and unwavering devotion throughout history.
Sapphire is believed to hold the power
to quietly discern the truth of all things.
Each stone remains modest,
resting together as a single, gentle light.
✧ Eyes Reflecting Sky and Sea
Fāra’s eyes are colored like the sky reflected upon the sea.
Long ago, it was believed that
the world rested upon a gigantic sapphire,
and that the blue of the sky was its reflection—
a shade that echoes an ancient legend.
Each time her gaze meets yours,
a quiet depth and gentle clarity can be felt.

Her body is crafted from
short wavy mohair and faux fur.
